Land Identification
If, as a result of the Housing Needs Survey, a need for affordable housing is identified and the local community have indicated their support for a small affordable housing scheme the next stage in the process is to identify a suitable site for the development.
Midlands Rural Housing will work in partnership with the Parish Council and local landowners to find a site that is acceptable to the local community and the local planning authority.
Once potential sites have been identified we will carry out the technical tests required to ensure that the land is suitable for residential development.
We will then check that the land meets all the statutory requirements we move on to the third and most exciting phase – Scheme Design.
