Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association provides homes for people in rural areas of the county who would otherwise be unable to stay in their village because of the high cost of housing. Since registration in March 1992 the Association has continued to make progress in pursuit of its goal, and has been greatly assisted by the support received from Parish Councils, Local Authorities, the Housing Corporation and specialist rural agencies.
The Mission of the Association can be summarised as follows:
“Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association exists to provide affordable housing within rural Northamptonshire. It works closely with District and Parish Councils in order to ensure that its developments meet proven needs and have the support of local people.
The Association will explore every opportunity to meet these needs within affordability levels and to improve the service it provides to tenants”.
Midlands Rural Housing provides development, housing management and maintenance services to Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association.
