Rural Partners
Midlands Rural Housing works with rural communities in partnership with other agencies to tackle the problem of affordable rural housing. The objective is to provide those who wish to stay in their villages with the opportunity to do so.
Midlands Rural Housing provides management services for four locally focussed Housing Associations operating in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and the Peak District. Together they manage over 1,100 rural homes.
Due to its expertise and specialism, Midlands Rural Housing also acts as a 'host' organisation for a number of posts supported via external funding. Such posts are primarily concerned with enabling rural housing provision in the counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Midlands Rural Housing also have strong links with external agencies and other rural partners, and are involved in key policy and decision making at national, regional and sub-regional level.
