RURAL HOUSING SCHEMES - DEVELOPMENT
STAGE
Midlands Rural Housing is able to carry out further rural housing development work which can build upon the results of the Housing Needs Survey - this can include:
§ Consultation with Parish / Town Council regarding location, layout and process for delivering affordable housing in the settlement, including the introduction of a ‘delivery organisation’ if necessary
§ Liaison with Local Authority Planning and Housing Strategy teams regarding the progression of a scheme
§ Locating a suitable site for affordable housing, and liaison between partner, RSL, Local Authority and land owner
§ Arrangement of plans to be drawn up for a development through work with partner, RSL, Parish/Town Council, Local Authority and Architects
§ Collation of vital information to support the project in preparation for bidding for grant allocation, including strategic fit and sustainability evidence
